Hong Kong is big so we will venture out tomorrow to see a little of it. Not sure if it will be the shops!
We have managed to connect with everything so far. Hotel support is very attentive and gracious. Food is different. Have yet to see how far the Hong Kong dollar will go.
Have found a newspaper in English but no TV as yet. Room is very ornamental - a big screen which looks like a mirror so we need to do some exploring and push some more buttons.
Thinking of you all as you settle into Papamoa/the Mount. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteSounds like Hong Kong has been the perfect place for your first stop... you do know Mum there are lots and lots of shops, and they also have post offices... so you can always go shopping and post back!
We are are the Mount. Looks like it is going to be good weather. Girls travelled really well yesterday, which is great. Alice woke with a croupy cough this morning - sounds nastier than what it really is. Julia was very worried, so no sleep in for me this morning!

Try and check out some shops - there are heaps of malls. Take a photo of your room on the i-pad and send it to your blog - next lesson!!
